Klaxons Meh?

Lets face it the Klaxons album Myths Of The Near Future off of the label Rinse is fun. They get you moving your feet and then a few more seconds into the song your entire body is having some sort of convulsions. From Atlantis To Interzone is easily the track that I enjoy the most simply because of the first sounds you hear and that continue for the rest of the song, because I own the keyboard that puts those out as well and it somewhat cracks me up that they used them. I think I would give The Klaxons more respect if they weren’t in the music business to get big and make the money. Granted they have the talent to, but being in it for the fun, joy, & love would work for me. If they came passing by through Cleveland I would definitely go to their show it would be a good time and why pass that up? Back to the album though it isn’t very cohesive it jumps around & borrows just a little too much from other artists/bands. Maybe after some of the touring is done and they get a taste of fame they will mature and get down to making a Nu-Wave album that actually sounds like one instead of one that just has the name plastered on it. We can only hope things turn out for the best with these guys.  By the way most of the remixes tear the originals up.
